News Inverse Theater Presents Annual Christmas Show and Party, Dec. 20 You can count on Off-Broadway's Inverse Theater to always be in the spirit of things every December. As has become its tradition, the company will, on Dec. 20, present a free staging of one of the plays in its repertoire, followed by a holiday party to which the audience is invited.

This year's attraction is not the usual bill—Midnight Brainwash Revival—but the espionage thriller The Death of Griffin Hunter. Both were written by Inverse's artistic director and resident scribe, Kirk Wood Bromley. The Death of Griffin Hunter was first presented by WalkerSpace in Tribeca in 1998. Since then, it has been rewritten. The new staging will be directed by Ben Yalom of San Francisco's FoolsFury Theater.

The reading takes place at 7 PM at 520 8th Ave. on the third floor in the New Georges Room.
