News Irish Rep Will Present Reading of The Moors Featuring Bianca Amato, Hannah Cabell and More The Irish Repertory Theatre will continue its eighth season of its Reading Series with The Moors by Jen Silverman, directed by Jackson Gay (These Paper Bullets at Yale Rep) July 28 at 3 PM.

The free reading, according to press notes, is, "a dark comedy about love, desperation and visibility...[where] two sisters and a dog live out their lives on the bleak English moors and dream of love and power. The arrival of a hapless governess and a moor-hen set all three on a strange and dangerous path."

The cast will feature Bianca Amato (King Lear at Theatre for a New Audience), Hannah Cabell (Grounded, A Man For All Seasons), Billy Carter (All That Fall, The Weir), Susannah Flood (Love and Information), Mahira Kakkar (When January Feels Like Summer) and Jeanine Serralles (The Muscles In Our Toes).

The 2013-14 Irish Rep Reading Series is underwritten in part by Alexis Doyle, Patricia Smith and members of the theatre's Patron's Circle.
