Is That All There Is? is the tentative title for a new musical based on the life of the late jazz singer Peggy Lee.

Dick Foster Productions has contracted Larry Hart — of Sisterella fame — to create a musical based on Lee's life, Variety reports. The show, scheduled for Australian and London engagements before a U.S. tour, will feature tunes that Lee made famous. Some of Lee's signature tunes include "Why Don't You Do Right?," "Fever," "Lover," "Golden Earrings," "Big Spender" and "Is That All There Is?"

Foster plans to cast a star as the famed singer, although an unknown will play the Grammy winner as a youngster. No casting has been announced.

Peggy Lee was born Norma Egstrom in May 1920. Her distinctive vocal style was noticed by Henry Goodman who hired the singer to perform with his band. Also a composer and an actress, Lee garnered an Academy Award nomination for her role in the 1955 jazz film, "Pete Kelly's Blues." She won a Grammy Award for the song "Is That All There Is?" and she made her Broadway debut at the age of 62 in the 1983 production Peg. Lee was awarded the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers' Pied Piper Award in 1990. The jazz legend died of a heart attack on Jan 21, 2002.
