The work is directed by Horovitz and Michael LoPorto, with special choreography by Yvonne Marceau. The cast will include Jeremy Brena, Lynn Cohen, Maia Sage Ermansons , Stephanie Janssen, Kendra Leigh Landon, Victoria Malvagno, Francisco Solorzano and Christopher Whalen. The producer is the Barefoot Theatre Company. The work is one of a string of three Horovitz works this winter. A revival of Lebensraum, in which a German chancellor invites six million Jews to relocate to Germany, begins at Theatre Row on Dec. 13 and runs through Dec. 30. The cast includes T. Ryder Smith (Underneath the Lintel, Thom Pain (based on nothing)), Suli Holum and Ryan Young. The creative team includes Susan Zeeman Rogers (set design), Chris Bailey (lighting and sound design) and Samantha Miller (costume design).
Horovitz's new play The Secret of Mme. Bonnard's Bath, which begins in February 2007 at Theatre Row, will be the first production of the new producing wing of the New York Playwrights Lab, a playwriting society that Horovitz founded in 1975.
