News It's All Coming Back: Meat Loaf Seizes the Palace for "Bat Out of Hell on Broadway" Nov. 2 Singer Meat Loaf claims the Palace Theatre stage Nov. 2 in a one-night-only "Bat Out of Hell on Broadway" concert.

Promoting his forthcoming trilogy-ending release "Bat Out of Hell III - The Monster is Loose," the three-act show will feature songs from the original 1977 album "Bat Out of Hell" (including "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad"), from the Grammy Award-winning "Bat Out of Hell 2 - Back into Hell" ("I'd Do Anything For Love [But I Won't Do That]") and from the new release.

Following his New York concert, the tour, which launched at London's Royal Albert Hall (Oct. 16), will head to Toronto's Elgin Theatre (Nov. 4), Atlantic City's Estes Theatre (Nov. 10) and Connecticut's Mohegan Sun (Nov. 12).

"It's a special treat to get the chance to see this huge show in a theatre of only 1,700 seats," said event promoter James Nederlander — whose family owns the venue.

"Bat Out of Hell III - The Monster is Loose" (on Virgin Records America) was released on Halloween and features songs by Broadway's Dance of the Vampires composer Jim Steinman as well as Desmond Child, Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx and John 5. It was produced by Child with additional vocal arrangements by Todd Rundgren. Featured performers include John 5, Queen's Brian May, Steve Vai and newcomer Marion Raven.

The last show to play the Palace was Elton John's vampire musical Lestat. Next up, the Broadway house gets a tad sunnier with the movie-turned-musical Legally Blonde. The Palace is also no stranger to special performances by music stars having played host to such acts as Harry Belafonte, Judy Garland, Liberace, Josephine Baker, Shirley MacLaine, Bette Midler, Diana Ross as well as the comic acts of Bob Hope, Danny Kaye, Jerry Lewis, Eddie Fisher and Buddy Hackett. Tickets are available for "Bat Out of Hell on Broadway" through Ticketmaster or the Palace box office at 1564 Broadway.
