Off-Broadway News Jackie Sibblies Drury’s Marys Seacole Announces Extension The new work by the Fairview scribe opened February 25 at Lincoln Center Theater’s LCT3.

The latest play from Jackie Sibblies Drury, Marys Seacole, will now play through April 7 at Lincoln Center Theater’s Claire Tow Theater. Part of the LCT3 season, the production officially opened February 25. Drury is best known for her play Fairview, which recently announced its upcoming Off-Broadway return.

Written by Drury and directed by Obie winner Lileana Blain-Cruz (Pipeline), the story the drama follows the story of a passionate and driven Jamaican woman, Mary (Bernstine) and her adventures across the globe and across time—from the Crimean War zone to a modern-day nursing home.

The full cast includes Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Gabby Beans, Marceline Hugot, Karen Kandel, Ismenia Mendes, and Lucy Taylor. The production features scenic design by Mariana Sanchez, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Jiyoun Chang, and sound design by Palmer Hefferan.

LCT3 is the arm of Lincoln Center Theater dedicated to the development of new work under the artistic direction of Evan Cabnet (LCT3) and LCT Artistic Director André Bishop.
