Classic Arts News Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival Announces 2005 Program Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, the prominent summer series in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, will feature performances this year by Savion Glover, the Martha Graham Dance Company, Ronald K. Brown/Evidence, Garth Fagan Dance, and the Mark Morris Dance Company.
Also on the schedule are Australia's Chunky Move, Rennie Harris Puremovement, Alonzo King's LINES Ballet, Ben Munisteri Dance Projects, Mexico City's A Poc A Poc, Aszure Barton's ASzURe & Artists, Stockholm/59°, Susan Marshall & Company, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, the Trey McIntyre Project, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montr_al, Johannes Wieland, Black Grace, and Project Fukurow.

The festival begins with a gala performance on June 18 featuring Glover, the former tap prodigy, along with the Ben Munisteri Dance Projects and dancers from the Ballet Program of the School at Jacob's Pillow performing a world-premiere work by choreographer Margot Sappington.

Other highlights include the world premiere of Blueprint of a Lady, a work inspired by jazz legend Billie Holiday and performed by Ronald K. Brown/Evidence with vocalist Nnenna Freelon.
