A contemporary set design created by Sue LePage will compliment this 1967 show. It is directed by Elly Stone, an accomplished singer and performer in her own right and wife to Eric Blau, who originally conceived the show, writing added material. Blau is also production supervisor for this revival, which marks Elly Stone’s 12th time as its director on both sides of the Atlantic.

Michael Burgess is a popular Canadian actor-singer and recording artist, well known for his performances in Les Miserables and Man of La Mancha.

Louis Pitred’s most recent stage appearance was in the hit musical I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. The performer is recalled by local audiences for her Dora Award-winning portrayal of Edith Piaf in the biographical one-woman musical, Piaf, and for her wrenching performance as Fantine in Les Miserables.

Eternally youthful Jeff Hyslop recently helped pack ‘em in as the Emcee in Manitoba Theatre Centre’s Cabaret and won critical plaudits when he played Molina on Broadway in Kiss of the Spider Woman. He played the title role in The Phantom of the Opera here a few years ago and will return to the role in August when the Toronto production finally draws its last breath following its unprecedented ten-year run at the Pantages. Tickets for Brel are now on sale at all tour box offices. Call TicketMasters at (416) 872-5555 for information.
