News Jacques Brel's Eric Blau Remembered March 5 in Manhattan A memorial for Eric Blau, the industrious jack-of-all-trades who helped introduce Belgian songwriter Jacques Brel to American audiences through the long-lived musical revue Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, will be held March 5 in Manhattan.

Blau, who died Feb. 17, will be remembered at 1:30 PM at the Plaza Jewish Community Chapel. Producers and performers of his various works, including cast members of Jacques Brel, as well as friends and fans are expected to attend.

Blau was married to actress/director Elly Stone, who survives him.
