Stage and screen star Jai Rodriguez will join the previously reported Reba McEntire and Tony Award winner Lily Tomlin in the ABC half-hour pilot "Malibu Country."

According to a previous Deadline.com report, "Malibu Country," written by Kevin Abbott, centers on Reba Gallagher (McEntire) who, after her rock-star husband cheats on her, divorces him and moves her family from Nashville to a little house in Malibu. Tomlin will play Shirley, Reba's warm and funny mother who joins the family in their move.

Abbott and McEntire executive produce the pilot with Mindy Schultheis, Michael Hanel, Narvel Blackstock, Dave Stewart and Pam Williams.
