Tony winner Lindsay Duncan (Private Lives, Les Liaisons Dangereuses) won Best Actress for her role in "Le Week-End," and James McAvoy, who recently starred in Macbeth in the West End, won Best Actor for "Filth." Best Director went to Sean Ellis for "Metro Manila"; the film also won Best British Independent Film.

Julie Walters, a two-time Oscar nominee and Olivier Award winner who has starred in "Brave," "Mamma Mia!," "Becoming Jane," "Billy Elliot," "Educating Rita" and the "Harry Potter" series, received the Richard Harris Award.
