News "Jamie deRoy & friends" Heads to Friars Club April 27 "Jamie deRoy & Friends," the MAC Award-winning variety show, will be presented April 27 at the Friars Club in Manhattan.

The evening, hosted by deRoy, will feature Ring of Fire's Melanie Vaughan, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas composer Carol Hall, singer-songwriters David Buskin and Robin Batteau, The Crystals' La La Brooks, mind reader and magician Benjamin Levy and comedienne Nancy Witter. Show time is 6 PM. Barry Kleinbort will direct the one-night-only event, and Lanny Meyers will serve as musical director.

Jamie deRoy, a stand-up comic, singer and hostess, has been a longtime fixture on the New York cabaret scene. She is the winner of eight MAC Awards, nine Telly Awards and is an Emmy-nominated producer of Channel 13's "CityArts."

The Friars Club is located in Manhattan at 57 East 55th Street. The performance is open to Friars Club members and their guests.
