News Jane Lynch and Dustin Lance Black Will Be Presenters at Family Equality Council Awards Honoring Dan Savage, Luke MacFarlane The Family Equality Council has announced the list of honorees and presenters for the organization's 2011 awards dinner, which will be held Jan. 29 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood.

The event, according to press notes, "honors individuals and organizations who have demonstrated a commitment to helping loving families achieve equal rights."

Honorees include Dan Savage and Terry Miller, founders of the It Gets Better Project; Kris Perry & Sandy Stier and Paul Katami & Jeff Zarrillo, the plaintiffs from the Perry v. Schwarzenegger trial; and actor Luke MacFarlane from the ABC-TV show, "Brothers & Sisters."

"Glee" Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jane Lynch and screenwriter Dustin Lance Black will serve as presenters.

Proceeds from the event help sustain Family Equality Council’s educational, advocacy and policy work.
