News Jane Lynch to Be Honored, Matthew Morrison and Lily Tomlin to Appear at L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center Gala "Glee" star and stage actress Jane Lynch will be honored with the Rand Schrader Distinguished Achievement Award at the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center's 39th Anniversary Gala & Auction, Nov. 13 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.

Lynch's co-star on "Glee," Tony nominee Matthew Morrison, will present her with the award. The event will be hosted by Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Lily Tomlin.

Lynch, an Emmy winner for her work as vicious cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on "Glee," has appeared on stage in The Real Live Brady Bunch and in a recent run in the Off-Broadway production of Love, Loss and What I Wore. Her film credits include "Best in Show," "A Mighty Wind," "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Julie and Julia." A longtime LGBT activist, Lynch is a board member at the Center and a veteran of the California AIDS Ride, which is now known as AIDS/Life Cycle.
