The soundtrack to Casanova, at number one for the last two weeks, dropped to number three; Andr_ Rieu's The Flying Dutchman moved up to number two. (Dutch violinists now occupy the top two spots on the chart.)

New to the classical chart was a recording of music by the 16th-century Flemish composer Nicholas Gombert by the Hilliard Ensmble, which debuted at number 22.

On the classical-crossover chart, the pop-opera upstarts Il Divo were knocked from the top spot by the master of the genre: tenor Andrea Bocelli, whose Amore debuted at number one. (The album also made a strong debut on Billboard's comprehensive album chart, showing up at number three.)

Il Divo's Ancora fell to number two in its third week on the chart; Il Divo dropped to number three.
