Mendez and Massey, who both starred in Wicked on Broadway, were recently announced as guest performers for the April 20 concert at Subculture music club.

"Both of them [Kyle and Lindsay] were exactly the kind of performers I was looking to collaborate with when I started this residency," Jason Robert Brown told Playbill.com. "Sensational singers with serious acting chops who I hadn’t gotten to work with before!"

Composer, lyricist, conductor and director Brown (The Last Five Years, Bridges of Madison County, Honeymoon in Vegas) has taken up a year-long residency at Subculture, curating a concert series that runs from April through November. Each performance is set to incorporate a mix of music from throughout his career along with new works in development.

Kitt is a Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning composer and musician with Broadway credits that include If/Then, Next to Normal, High Fidelity and Bring it On: The Musical. Massey is a Broadway actor whose credits include Pippin, Next to Normal and Xanadu; he has also worked on television in "The Good Wife," "Nashville" and "Inside Amy Schumer."
