Green wrote the lyrics to Tom Kitt's music for the Broadway musical High Fidelity. She is currently co-writing lyrics for Bring It On, collaborating with Kitt and Lin-Manuel Miranda; and the score for Hands On a Hardbody, collaborating with Doug Wright and T Bone Burnett. Green is the winner of MAC Awards, Bistro Awards, the Jonathan Larson Award and Songwriter's Hall of Fame Award for Excellence in Songwriting.
