Schwartz penned God's Ear, produced by the Vineyard in 2008. Anne Kauffman reunites with her as director of the new work that runs through June 23. 

According to the Vineyard, "Somewhere Fun follows Rosemary and Evelyn, two women who met 'a hundred thousand years ago' in Central Park when their children were barely born, and who are reunited on Madison Avenue one windy fall day 35 years later. With their children now grown and the world changing rapidly before (what's left of) their eyes, each finds herself face to face with the terrors, joys, and surprises of life and time." It's a "wildly original story about connection — to our families, our memories, our moment in time."

The cast also features Makenna Ballard, Richard Bekins, Griffin Birney, Brooke Bloom, Maria Elena Ramirez and Mary Shultz.

Somewhere Fun's creative team includes set designer Marsha Ginsberg, costume designer Jessica Pabst, lighting designer Japhy Weideman, sound designer Daniel Kluger and wig designer Paul Huntley. Megan Schwarz Dickert is the production stage manager.

The Vineyard Theatre's leadership includes Douglas Aibel (artistic director), Jennifer Garvey-Blackwell (executive producer), Sarah Stern (co-artistic director) and Michael Page (general manager). Vineyard's home is on 15th Street, just east of Union Square.
