News Jeremy Dobrish Will Direct Farah Alvin and David Josefsberg in Reading of New Musical Date of a Lifetime A staged industry reading of the new musical Date of a Lifetime, which was first seen in the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival, will be presented Oct. 25 in Manhattan.

Jeremy Dobrish will direct a cast that comprises Farah Alvin (The Last Smoker in America, The Marvelous Wonderettes) and David Josefsberg (The Wedding Singer, Grease, Les Miserables).

Date of a Lifetime features book and lyrics by Carl Kissin and music by Robert Baumgartner, Jr.

"Marvin and Katie meet at speed dating," according to press notes. "During their eight minutes together, Marvin imagines an entire lifetime with Katie -- then she does the same. Will this be a date from hell, or the date of a lifetime?"

George De Marco, Frank Evans and Jack Lechner are presenting the reading. Lisa Dozier King is the general manager.
