The Jersey Boys creators will share the show with Souvenir stars Judy Kaye and Donald Corren who will appear in another segment on the show. Kaye and Corren star in the Broadway staging which centers around the colorful life of Florence Foster Jenkins.

Des McAnuff (700 Sundays, The Who's Tommy) directs Jersey Boys after staging its debut at La Jolla Playhouse. Performances started Oct. 4 at the August Wilson Theatre toward an official Nov. 6 opening night.

Jersey Boys features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and a book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice. The new musical is billed as "The story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time," according to the production notes. "They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide — all before they were 30."

Starring as the pop quartet are Christian Hoff (as Tommy DeVito), Daniel Reichard (as Bob Gaudio), J. Robert Spencer (as Nick Massi) and John Lloyd Young (as Frankie Valli).

"Theater Talk" is hosted by Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins. The half-hour show airs late Friday nights at midnight on WNET/Thirteen. Check local listings for repeat air times. For more information, visit www.theatertalk.org.
