PlayBlog Jimmy (Not Jamie) Fallon Parodies “Glee” Since Forbidden Broadway and Forbidden Hollywood are on hiatus, we need to find other places to look for a spoof of FOX-TV’s hit “Glee,” which has that special combination of Broadway musical talent and Hollywood schmaltz that’s perfect for parody. Over on competitor NBC-TV, Jimmy Fallon was only too happy to take the bait on a recent “Late Night.”

In a delicious twist on the show’s angsty high-school environment, Fallon is distraught when he finds he can’t afford cue cards. Before you know it, though, he gets all the pluck and ingenuity of Mr. Schuester (the character played on “Glee” by Broadway regular Matthew Morrison) and decides to form a glee club out of his own staff and enter them in sectionals! If they can win the prize money, why, all their problems will be solved.

This skit is about seven minutes long, but if you don’t have time to watch the whole thing, try to catch the Bon Jovi tune performed towards the end by a Slushie-drenched Fallon and staff.
