News Joe Traina and Septet Help "Damages" Celebrate Upcoming Season Premiere Joe Traina, who has been managing Broadway theatres since 1987 — he currently presides over the Cort Theatre — and his Septet will perform at the Plaza Hotel June 29 beginning at 8 PM to celebrate the upcoming new season of the acclaimed TV series "Damages," which stars Glenn Close and Ted Danson.

Close, John Goodman and Rose Byrne are among those expected to attend the event, which is hosted by DirecTV.

Traina, who plays clarinet, will be joined by Lee Musiker on piano, Mike Karn on bass, Scott Neumann, trumpeter Joe Magnarelli, trombonist John Allred and jazz legend Grant Stewart on tenor sax.

The Joe Traina ensembles have performed at such venues as Tavern On the Green, Metronome, Sardi's, The National Arts Club, Tatou, Sullivan's, Shelly's New York and The Savoy Grill.

"Ten By Ten," which is available on the Joe Traina music label, includes such songs as Guys and Dolls' "I've Never Been in Love Before," My Fair Lady's "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face" and Jubilee's "Begin the Beguine," among others.

The Plaza Hotel is located on Fifth Avenue at Central Park South in New York City.
