PlayBlog John Barrowman to Guest on "The Michael Ball Show" in September Transatlantic stage and screen star John Barrowman will tape an appearance on "The Michael Ball Show" Sept. 8 at 3 PM at the BBC Television Centre. His appearance on the show, which is hosted by fellow British stage vet Ball, will air Sept. 17 at 3 PM on ITV1.

Barrowman will discuss his upcoming concert tour, and may also chat about his holiday pantomime appearance in Aladdin in his native Glasgow, Scotland, as well as the upcoming new season of his hit series "Torchwood," according to his official website.

Barrowman, best known for starring in "Torchwood" and appearances on "Doctor Who," has appeared on Broadway in Sunset Boulevard and Putting It Together, and on the West End in La Cage aux Folles, Chicago, Anything Goes, Love's Labour's Lost, A Few Good Men, Beauty and the Beast, Miss Saigon, The Fix, Hair and Sunset Boulevard. He also played Bobby in the Kennedy Center's Sondheim Celebration production of Company.
