Foxy, the 1964 Broadway musical by lyricist Johnny Mercer, composer Robert Emmett Dolan and book writers Ian McLellan Hunter and Ring Lardner Jr., will return for one-night-only on April 9 at Feinstein’s/54 Below. Adam Green will narrate the 7 PM concert.

The concert will feature Richard Kind (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Jeremy Kushnier (Head Over Heels), Chip Zien (Into the Woods), Rob Bartlett (Chicago), Jim Brochu (Zero Hour), Madison Claire Parks (The Fantasticks), Brian Krinski (Anything Goes), and David Stallar (Project Shaw), as well as Caitlin Belcik, Michael Byrne, Helora DaRosa, Catherine DeLuce, Atiauna Grant, Will Hutcheson, Madeline Mancebo, Russell McCook, Paris Alexander Nesbitt, Allsun O’Malley, Joseph Redman, and Christopher Withers.

The musical, about a gold prospector on a mission to claim his rightful fortune after he’s conned by his duplicitous friends, originally starred Bert Lahr, who won the Tony Award for his performance. Songs from Foxy include “Run, Run, Cinderella”; “Many Ways to Skin a Cat”; and “I’m Way Ahead of the Game.”

Robert W. Schneider will direct and produce the concert; Kevin David Thomas will music direct the concert. The score has been re-assembled and augmented by Jon Mass to include rarely heard Mercer songs and more. Benjamin Nissen serves as associate producer.
