The 3 PM concert is being produced by the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center and features direction by Alan Muraoka. Those scheduled to lend their talents to the afternoon include Grease's Christine Toy Johnson, Rent's Telly Leung, Beauty and the Beast's Deborah Lew, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee's Jose Llana and Avenue Q's Hazel Anne Raymundo. The concert will pay tribute to the late Mako and Pat Morita. Asian Americans On Broadway, according to press notes, is "told in Chorus Line style [and] blends music, stories and photos to recreate the triumphant and successful journeys of these six Asian American performers to the Great White Way."

The Aratani/Japan America Theatre is located at 244 South San Pedro Street in downtown Los Angeles in Little Tokyo. Tickets, priced $35-$50, are available by calling (213) 680-3700.
