The cast of Broadway's In the Heights welcomes alumnus Jon Rua back to the Richard Rodgers Theatre June 22 to play cousin Sonny.Rua will be Sonny for five weeks June 22-July 25 before stepping into the role of "Graffiti Pete" on July 26. Beginning July 29, Shaun Taylor-Corbett, fresh from the national tour of In the Heights, will take over the role of Sonny.

In the Heights currently stars Corbin Bleu (through Aug. 17) as Usnavi, the narrator and guide of the Tony Award-winning musical tour of the Latino-flavored Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. The show that won Tonys for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Orchestrations and Best Choreography plays the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

Beginning Aug. 19, In the Heights will star "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks as Nina, the college student returning to the neighborhood with a secret.

Rua returns to In the Heights, where he made his Broadway debut. Off-Broadway credits include The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity (Second Stage), In the Heights, Damn Yankees (Encores!).

Taylor-Corbett returns to In the Heights, where he made his Broadway debut in the original company. Off-Broadway credits include In the Heights and Altar Boyz. His music is available at www.shauntaylorcorbett.com. With a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes and conceived by composer-lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda, In the Heights is directed by Thomas Kail.

In the Heights currently stars Corbin Bleu, Bianca Marroquin, Janet Dacal, Marcy Harriell, Christopher Jackson, Priscilla Lopez, Olga Merediz, Rick Négron, Courtney Reed and Stewart leading a cast of 28 that features Tony Chiroldes, Dwayne Clark, Rosie Lani Fiedelman, Marcus Paul James, Nina Lafarga, Jennifer Locke, Doreen Montalvo, Noah Rivera, Eliseo Román, Gabrielle Ruiz, Luis Salgado, Rickey Tripp, Michael Balderrama, Blanca Camacho, Allison Thomas Lee, Alejandra Reyes and Marcos Santana.
