News Jones, Cassidy, Mazzie and Danieley Will Sing Rodgers and Hammerstein Sept. 6-7 The Colorado Festival of World Theatre will present My Favorite Things – celebrating the work of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II — in September.

The Sept. 6 (at 8 PM) and Sept. 7 (at 4 PM) concerts will be held at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs, CO. The two performances will boast the talents of Shirley Jones, Patrick Cassidy, Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley.

Lonny Price directs the R&H tribute with musical direction by Paul Gemignani. The concerts will also feature the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale, the Colorado Springs Conservatory, local youth groups and the Festival Orchestra.

A brunch and conversation with the cast will be held Sept. 7 at 10 AM at The Broadmoor.

Shirley Jones appeared in the Broadway productions of South Pacific, Maggie Flynn and 42nd Street, but is best known for her work on the small and silver screens. She was the matriarch of "The Partridge Family" and also starred in the films of "Oklahoma," "Carousel" and "The Music Man." Jones won an Academy Award for her performance in "Elmer Gantry."

Patrick Cassidy's Broadway credits include 42nd Street, Aida, Annie Get Your Gun, Leader of the Pack and The Pirates of Penzance. He also played Joseph in a tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Marin Mazzie, recently seen in the New York Philharmonic production of Camelot, is a three-time Tony Award nominee for her performances in Kiss Me, Kate; Ragtime; and Passion. Her other theatrical credits include Into the Woods, Big River, The World Goes 'Round, the City Center Encores! productions of Kismet and Out of this World and Off-Broadway's The Trojan Women: A love Story, where she met husband Jason Danieley. Mazzie also starred in the London production of Kiss Me, Kate, where she earned an Olivier Award nomination for her work, and played a recent stint in the London cast of Spamalot. She was also seen in the Actors' Fund of America's concert staging of On the Twentieth Century. Mazzie is currently back on Broadway in Monty Python's Spamalot.

Jason Danieley, most recently on Broadway in Curtains, played Dr. Rey in the Signature Theatre's production of The Highest Yellow. He starred on Broadway as Malcolm MacGregor in The Full Monty, a role he repeated in London. For his Broadway debut in Candide, Danieley received a Theatre World Award and a Drama Desk nomination. His other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Strike Up the Band as well as Off-Broadway runs in Dream True and Floyd Collins. Danieley is married to Marin Mazzie.
