News Jones to Direct and Appear in The Fantasticks for Casa Mañana; Casting Complete Casting is now complete for the Casa Mañana staging of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's beloved musical The Fantasticks, which will star Lorenzo Lamas.

As previously announced, Golden Globe nominee Lamas will head the cast in the role of El Gallo. Joining the former "Falcon Crest" star will be Fantasticks lyricist, book writer and veteran performer Tom Jones reprising his role as Henry.

In addition to appearing in the production, Jones also directs the Casa Mañana presentation that runs June 3-8.

Completing The Fantasticks company are Erica Piccininni (Jersey Boys) as Luisa, Nick Spangler (Off-Broadway revival of Fantasticks) as Matt, David Coffee as Bellomy, Gary Taggart as Hucklebee, Michael Nostrand (Peter Pan) as Mortimer and Andy Baldwin as The Mute.

The Fantasticks – the world's longest-running musical – tells the story of two young lovers who are put to the test by their bumbling fathers, led astray by a handsome and mysterious figure, and ultimately return to one another more "worldly-wise."
