Tony winner Sheldon Harnick will host, and Judy Blazer, Chuck Cooper, Jeff McCarthy and Debra Monk are scheduled to perform. The event was devised by the program's artistic director, Rob Fisher, and by its writer-director, David Garrison.

Audiences can expect to hear songs with lyrics written by the likes of Tom Lehrer, W.S. Gilbert, Stephen Sondheim, Noel Coward, Randy Newman, Ira Gershwin, Lorenz Hart and Fred Ebb. Song titles will include Lehrer's "When You're Old and Grey" and "The Old Dope Peddler," Newman's "Political Science" and "The Song That Goes Like This" from Spamalot.

Fisher said in a statement, "This is exactly what L&L can be – exploring satire as a particular kind of writing done for a particular reason. There's an art in knowing how far to exaggerate in order to make us laugh while we also see the truth behind the joke. Because if you're not laughing, it's not working – it's just grumpiness."

The 92nd Street Y is located at 1395 Lexington Avenue. For tickets, visit 92y.org.
