Tony Award winners Judy Kaye — now on Broadway in Souvenir — and Maryann Plunkett will offer a free live performance Dec. 14 at Tower Records Lincoln Center.

Kaye and Plunkett will perform selections from the new holiday CD "The Odd Potato," billed as "the Hanukkah story for everyone." The performance is set to begin at 6 PM. In all, The Odd Potato CD features twenty Tony Award-winning artists. In addition to Kaye and Plunkett, the recording — which benefits Variety, The Children's Charity — also boasts Jim Dale, Dan Fogler, Sutton Foster, Boyd Gaines, Debbie Gravitte, Judd Hirsch, Ron Holgate, Cady Huffman, Dick Latessa, Hal Linden, Priscilla Lopez, John Mahoney, Donna McKechnie, Michele Pawk, Hal Prince, Elaine Stritch, Lillias White and Scott Wise.

The Odd Potato features book and lyrics by Eileen Bluestone Sherman and music by Gail C. Bluestone. The musical, according to press notes, tells the story of "Rachel and Sammy Levy, who want their grieving father to 'snap out' of his depression so that they can celebrate Hanukkah the way they did before their mother's death. When she sees an ugly, odd-looking potato at the grocer's, Rachel remembers her mother's favorite story of holiday cheer. Using that potato and their imaginations, Rachel and Sammy manage to rekindle joy and laughter in their home and in their father's heart."

Tower Records Lincoln Center is located in Manhattan at 66th Street and Broadway.
