It will begin performances March 26 at the Trafalgar Studios 1 prior to an official opening April 3, for a limited run through June 21.

Jeremy Herrin directs a cast that includes Will Attenborough as Judd (the original Branagh/Firth role) and Rob Callender as Bennett (the original Everett role), with Cai Brigden as Delahay, Mark Donald as Devenish, Dario Coates as Sanderson, Bill Milner as Wharton, James Parris as Menzies and Mark Quartley as Barclay, some of the schoolboys at the English public school where the play is set during one summer term in the 1930s. When a scandal rocks the corridors of learning, the reaction of two idealistic, rebellious students shakes the school to its foundations and has a momentous impact on their lives, their friends and even on the future of the country.

The adult role of Vaughan Cunningham is played by Julian Wadham, who was most recently seen at the National Thaetre in This House (also directed by Herrin). Screen credits include "Downton Abbey," "Father Brown," "Middlemarch," "Egypt," "Posh," "The Iron Lady" and "Warhorse." Further casting is still to be announced.

Design is by Peter McKintosh, with lighting design by Paul Pyant and sound design by Fergus O’Hare. The Chichester Festival Theatre production is produced in the Weest End by Fiery Angel and Theatre Royal Bath Productions, in association with Tom O'Connell for QNQ Ltd.
