Wilson, who was last seen on Broadway in the infamous Peter Allen musical Legs Diamond, has titled her newest show I'm Still Here, which celebrates her 65 years in show business. With musical direction by David Lewis, Wilson's run (through April 4) marks her only New York engagement prior to her 80th birthday celebration this fall. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Julie Wilson has performed in such musicals as Kiss Me, Kate; South Pacific, Bells Are Ringing, The Pajama Game, Kismet, Show Boat, Silk Stockings, Follies, Company and A Little Night Music. In the past few decades, however, it has been on the intimate cabaret stage where the singer-actress has triumphed. Her solo recordings include “Julie Wilson Sings the Cy Coleman Songbook,” “Julie Wilson Sings the Gershwin Songbook,” “Julie Wilson at the St. Regis,” “Live from the Russian Tea Room” and “My Old Flame.”

The 70-seat Hideaway Room is located within Helen's Restaurant, Cabaret & Piano Lounge at 169 Eighth Avenue, between 18th and 19th Streets. The new room features state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems designed by Shane Matthews. A complete line-up of upcoming performers is expected shortly.

There is a $25 cover charge as well as a $15 food/drink minimum for Wilson's I'm Still Here. For reservations, call (212) 206-0609.
