The United Airlines flight was forced to land at Dulles Airport in Washington, D.C., after a small fire broke out in the plane’s cockpit, cracking the windshield. A spokesperson for the National Transportation Safety Board said the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
FAA spokeswoman Holly Baker reported no injuries but said that the plane was met on the runway by fire trucks and other emergency vehicles. Passengers were reportedly booked on other flights to Los Angeles the morning of May 17.
About 100 passengers were on the flight with the actors, including Pamela Adlon of the Showtime series "Californication.”
