News Karen Akers, Barbara Walsh, Liz Callaway, Stephen Mo Hannan Will Celebrate Broadway Musicals of 1982 The Broadway Musicals of 1982, featuring songs from musicals that debuted on Broadway in 1982, will be presented at The Town Hall May 16.

Created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel and produced by The Town Hall, the 8 PM concert will boast the talents of Karen Akers and Barbara Walsh, who will perform songs from Nine; Liz Callaway and Stephen Mo Hannan, who will offer songs from Cats; and Drama Desk nominee Kerry O’Malley. The evening will also feature Mark Stuart Dance Theater and Craig Carnelia, the composer of the 1982 cult classic Is There Life After High School?

"Scott Siegel takes the audience on a musical travelogue, exploring the history of the Great White Way and providing social anecdotes while showcasing the beloved hits and lesser-known gems from the golden age of Broadway," according to press notes.
