"Private Practice" and "Grey's Anatomy" star Kate Walsh visited “The View” June 17 to talk about her recent return to her stage roots in Dusk Rings a Bell.

Bell, Stephen Belber’s new play, currently at the Atlantic Theatre Company’s Stage 2 through June 26, brings together a man and a woman some 25 years after an adolescent fling, and after they have made some very different life choices.

Walsh began her career in Chicago theatre, training at the Piven Theatre Workshop and appearing in several productions in the Windy City, including Troilus and Cressida; Happy Birthday, Wanda June; Moon Under Miami; and Born Guilty. She is an alumna of New York’s improv comedy troupe Burn Manhattan, The New York City Players theatre ensemble and the Upright Citizens Brigade sketch comedy in Los Angeles.
