Sagal ("Futurama," "Married With Children") will play Steinfeld's ("True Grit," "Romeo and Juliet") mother. The film featured Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson ("Bridesmaids," "Super Fun Night"), Brittany Snow ("Hairspray," "There's Always Woodstock") and Adam DeVine ("Workaholics", "Modern Family"), reprising their roles from "Pitch Perfect."

Making her directorial debut, Elizabeth Banks will helm the film, which will be written by Kay Cannon.

The 2012 movie followed Beca (Kendrick), who joined The Bellas, her school's all-girls singing group. Kendrick's hit solo, "Cups," achieved triple-platinum status.

Sagal was a member of Bette Midler's backup group The Harlettes in 1978, and again from 1982–83. Her solo albums include "Well," "Room" and "Covered."

Kendrick recently finished filming Rob Marshall's "Into the Woods," where she plays Cinderella. She also recently filmed the screen adaptation of Jason Robert Brown's musical The Last Five Years and has appeared in the "Twilight" film series, "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" and "50/50".

Kendrick, who received an Oscar nomination for her role in "Up in the Air," was a Tony nominee at age 12 for her role as Dinah in High Society and gave a memorable performance of "The Ladies Who Lunch" in the movie "Camp."
