Clarke, who appeared on Broadway as Glinda, has also been seen in The Light in the Piazza. Massey, who appeared on Broadway as Fiyero, also starred in Next to Normal and Xanadu. The actors will join a cast that includes Mamie Parris as Elphaba, Liz McCartney as Madame Morrible and Mark Jacoby as the Wizard.

Based on Gregory Maguire's novel, Wicked explores the early life of the witches of Oz: Glinda and Elphaba. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular.
