The series featuring Broadway actors performing improv and sketch comedy as well as musical numbers will be presented at midnight. Those scheduled to lend their talents to the evening include Night Job creators Steve Rosen, David Rossmer and Sarah Saltzberg as well as Celia Keenan-Bolger, Lisa Jolley, Rick Holmes, Marc Kudisch, Rebecca Kasper, Derrick Baskin, Jordan Gelber, Gibson Frasier, Jenn Colella, John Carrafa, Maurice Murphy and Asmeret Ghebremichael. Sean McDaniel will be featured on drums with musical direction by Dan Lipton.
Open Doors, which was created in 1988 by Wasserstein, is TDF's theatre arts mentoring program. The goal of the program, according to press notes, is to "explore the relevance of theatre in the lives of today's youth."
