The Civilians' Steve Cosson directs the 80-minute 8:30 PM concert of Friedman's music that will feature musical direction by Kimberly Grigsby.
The concert will feature the newly announced Keenan-Bolger (Spelling Bee) and Scott (Everyday Rapture), as well as de'Adre Aziza (Passing Strange), Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Alan H. Green (Play On), Caitlin Miller (Gone Missing), Rachel Stern (Shrek), Robbie Collier Sublett (You Better Sit Down, Gone Missing) and Dito van Reigersberg (Chekhov Lizardbrain).
Friedman, a member of the downtown theatre troupe The Civilians, has penned music for Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (to be produced at the Public Theater this spring), This Beautiful City, Saved, Gone Missing, Paris Commune and [I Am] Nobody's Lunch.
