News Kelli O'Hara Will Join Gay Men's Chorus for the 2007 Holiday Spectacular
The New York City Gay Men's Chorus will kick off it 28th season with The New York City Gay Men's Chorus 2007 Holiday Spectacular Dec. 11 at Carnegie Hall.

The evening will feature special guest stars Kelli O'Hara (The Light in the Piazza, The Pajama Game, the upcoming South Pacific) and the acclaimed bass/baritone Robert Osborne with a special appearance by the Third Street Music School Settlement Singers. Charles Beale will be the musical director for the 8 PM concert. In a statement music director Beale said, "Coming to New York and directing the New York City Gay Men's Chorus is a dream come true. One of the pioneers of the international Gay Choral Movement, NYCGMC has always maintained a reputation for excellence in musicality, education and leadership of LGBT choruses around the world. To join them as their musical director and to be making my American debut on the stage of Carnegie Hall along side Kelli O'Hara and Robert Osborn is an incredible honor."

Kelli O'Hara was most recently on Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of The Pajama Game, earning a Tony nomination for her performance as Babe. She was also Tony-nominated for her work as Clara in The Light in the Piazza. O'Hara's other Broadway credits include Jekyll & Hyde, Follies, Sweet Smell of Success and Dracula, the Musical. She was also recently seen in the Reprise! staging of Sunday in the Park with George. O'Hara will return to Broadway in 2008 in the Lincoln Center Theater revival of South Pacific.
