The DGA also recognizes contributions by individuals and organizations to our nation's culture in support of filmmaking and television with DGA Honors, and recognizes young filmmakers through the DGA Student Awards.

Grammer was nominated for a Tony Award in 2010 for his performance in La Cage aux Folles. The performer has also been seen on Broadway in Macbeth and Othello. He is best known for his work on the television sitcom "Frasier," and he currently stars in "Boss."
