News Kennedy Center Presents An Evening with Christine Andreas Feb. 10-12 Christine Andreas will salute the women of the musical theatre who influenced her career during her upcoming engagement at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

From Feb. 10-12, Andreas will offer tunes from her critically acclaimed recording "Here's to the Ladies," which features tunes made famous by Ethel Merman, Mary Martin, Barbra Streisand, Angela Lansbury and Barbra Cook. Part of the Kennedy Center's "A New America: The 1940s and the Arts Festival," An Evening with Christine Andreas will be held in the Terrace Gallery. Christine Andreas made her Broadway debut in the 1974 revue Words & Music. Her other Broadway appearances include roles in The Scarlet Pimpernel and the revivals of Angel Street, My Fair Lady, Oklahoma! and On Your Toes. Andreas received Tony nominations for her work in Oklahoma! and On Your Toes, and her solo recordings include "The Carlyle Set," “Love Is Good” (Fynsworth Alley) and “Here’s to the Ladies” (PS Classics).

"Here's to the Ladies" features such songs as "Moonshine Lullaby," "They Say It's Wonderful," "I'm Flying," "I Could Have Danced All Night," "Don't Rain on My Parade," "My Best Beau," "If He Walked Into My Life," "Bill," "Some People," "A Wonderful Guy," "Will He Liked Me?," "Shall We Dance?," "My Heart Belongs to Daddy," "The Music That Makes Me Dance" and "My Ship."
