News Kids' Night on Broadway, Including Tix for Wicked, Aladdin and More, Begins Tonight The 19th annual Kids' Night on Broadway, which offers children a free ticket to a Broadway show when accompanied by a paying adult, begins Jan. 9.

Kids' Night continues through Jan. 15.

"Kids' Night On Broadway is an annual event when kids ages 6 to 18 can see participating Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult," press notes state. "A Kids' Night On Broadway ticket includes pre-theatre activities, restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs, and more."

Judith Light, a two-time Tony Award winner for her performances in The Assembled Parties and Other Desert Cities, serves as the national ambassador

"Broadway has always been and always will be such an important part of my life," Light said in a previous statement. "I love the magic that happens on the stage, the joy of bringing unique and creative stories to life, and the opportunity to participate in such a welcoming, friendly community that shares a deep passion for the art of theatre. I'm also thrilled that we can bring a focus to LGBT equality through the collaboration with Point Foundation, an organization deserving of recognition for their efforts to promote the continued education of LGBT students."

Light is also a Tony nominee for Lombardi. Her other Broadway credits include A Doll's House and Herzl. The Emmy winner has appeared in "Ugly Betty" and "One Life to Live." Point Foundation is the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit. Participating shows include Aladdin, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Chicago, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Honeymoon in Vegas, If/Then, It's Only a Play, Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots, Les Misérables, The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, Matilda The Musical, The Phantom of the Opera, On the Town, Rock of Ages, Wicked and You Can’t Take It With You.

Additionally, kids can participate in a Kids' Night on Broadway Q&A by submitting questions to the Kids' Night on Broadway Facebook page that will later be answered by Broadway stars.

Throughout the year, Kids' Night On Broadway will take place in multiple cities around the country on various dates.
