Presented by kef theatrical productions, the cast features Brian Dykstra (The Jesus Factor), Colin Hanlon (Rent), Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde), Kelly McAndrew (Still Life), Lori Prince (Lyric is Waiting) and Michael Puzzo (Dirty Story). Kef artistic director Adam Fitzgerald helms the 7 PM event. Killing Women, according to press notes, is a "raucous comedy that explores the ironies and insanities of the corporate workplace through an organization that employs professional assassins. When Abby, a star on the rise, is simultaneously denied a promotion and asked to kill another woman, tempers flare, guns pop and out comes a life ending game of Monopoly. Killing Women asks what happens when you do not take a woman seriously, but you do give her a gun."

Wegrzyn's plays include Killing Women, Psalms of a Questionable Nature, Ten Cent Night, Hickorydickory and Diversey Harbor. She received the 2009 Wendy Wasserstein Playwriting Prize for Hickorydickory.

Theatre Row is located in Manhattan at 410 West 42nd Street. The reading is free and open to the public, and reservations can be made by calling (212) 802-8284 or by emailing Matthew Menter at [email protected].
