News Kristin Chenoweth Expected to Return to Promises for Nov. 10 Evening Performance Tony and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth, who is suffering from mild dehydration, will miss the Nov. 10 matinee performance of the Broadway revival of Promises, Promises but is expected to return for the evening show, according to the New York Times.

Chenoweth was feeling dizzy at the end of the Nov. 9 evening performance and missed the musical's curtain call. Standard policy required the production stage manager to call for an ambulance, and the actress was examined in her dressing room, where she was diagnosed with mild dehydration. As previously announced, the musical will play its final performance on Broadway Jan. 2, 2011, having played 30 preview and 291 regular performances.

The cast currently features Sean Hayes as Chuck Baxter, Kristin Chenoweth as Fran Kubelik, Tony Goldwyn as J.D. Sheldrake, Molly Shannon as Marge MacDougall and Dick Latessa as Dr. Dreyfuss, Brooks Ashmanskas as Mr. Dobitch, Helen Anker as Miss Olson, Peter Benson as Mr. Kirkeby, Seán Martin Hingston as Mr. Eichelberger and Ken Land as Jesse Vanderhof.

Promises, Promises plays the Broadway Theatre.
