PlayBlog Kristin Chenoweth Will Return to "Broadway" June 13 Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Wicked; Promises, Promises) will make it back to Broadway next week—42nd Street and Broadway, that is—when she helps kick off the opening day of sales for 2011 US Open tickets June 13 in Times Square.


Chenoweth will be playing tennis on a miniature US Open-style court in the heart of Times Square from noon until 1 PM. The event will begin at 9 AM with activities featuring a skills competition on the miniature US Open tennis court, Wii tennis stations, stilt-walkers, living statues of tennis greats, photos with the US Open trophy and ticket giveaways.

The 2011 US Open will be played at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY, Aug. 29 – Sept. 11.

The event is free to the public, so swing by Times Square and see if Chenoweth is up to par on her tennis skills.
