Those headed for some summer lovin’ include Andy Karl as Danny Zuko and Jennifer Hope Wills as Sandy. Leslie Kritzer, who starred in the Paper Mill production of Funny Girl, will play Rizzo. Others in the cast include John Jeffrey Martin (Kenickie), Heather Jane Rolff (Jan), Justin Bohon (Doody), Jordan Ballard (Marty), Sarah Stiles (Frenchie), Brenda Cummings (Miss Lynch), Stacey Harris (Cha-Cha), Noah Weissberg (Eugene), Clyde Alves (Sonny), Benjie Randall (Roger), Becky Gulsvig (Patty) and Enrique Acevedo (Johnny Casino). Grease! will begin previews at the New Jersey theatre June 4 with an official opening scheduled for June 6. The production, which begins rehearsals May 15, will run through July 20. Mark S. Hoebee will direct with choreography by Jeffrey Amsden and musical direction by Vicki Carter.
Featuring a book and score by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, Grease! features such tunes as “We Go Together,” “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightning,” “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee,” “Beauty School Dropout” and “There Are Worse Things I Could Do.”
