News Krohn Completes Cast of Off-Broadway's Glass Cage Casting is now complete for the Mint Theater production of The Glass Cage, which makes its U.S. premiere Off-Broadway Sept. 4.

Aaron Krohn, who has appeared in the Broadway productions of The Farnsworth Invention, The Coast of Utopia and The Invention of Love, has joined the cast of the J. B. Priestley work that will kick off the 2008-2009 Mint season.

Lou Jacob stages The Glass Cage, which officially opens Sept. 21 and will play a limited engagement through Oct. 26.

Krohn joins a cast that includes the previously announced Gerry Bamman, Chet Carlin, Chad Hoeppner, Robin Moseley, Saxon Palmer, Jeanine Serralles, Sandra Struthers-Clerc, Fiana Toibin and Jack Wetherall.

In The Glass Cage, press notes state, "the McBanes are a pious, Bible-thumping lot, dominated by the bullying David and his bachelor brother, Malcolm. Into their midst comes a strange trio of siblings, the fruits of a marriage between a third, wild McBane brother and a Native American woman. As the three disrupt the puritanical household with their boozing and sexual seduction, we are kept in the dark as to their ultimate purpose. Finally, Priestley makes it clear that they are hell-bent on revenge for the way their late dad was cheated of his rightful inheritance."

The design team comprises Roger Hanna (set design), Camille Assaf (costume design), Marcus Doshi (lighting design) and Lindsay Jones (sound design). Tickets are available by phoning (212) 315-0231. The Mint Theater Company is located at 311 West 43rd Street in New York.
