LOS ANGELES -- Dirty Laundry, a new comedy by Jorge Albertella, has certainly been cleaning up. The show's world premiere, scheduled to run through Feb. 7, recently extended to March 20 at L.A. Jewish Theatre's Actors' Playhouse. The show opened Jan. 9.
Johanna Siegmann directs a cast that includes Claire Kirk, J.D. Smith, James Esposito and Anthony Vatsula.
"Stan Shapiro, a married man, owner of a dry cleaner's, is seduced by one of his customers. How can this happen to him at fifty-five...and with 'that' customer," is how a company spokesperson described the play.
Albertella is a psychologist as well as a playwright. Dirty Laundry will have its East Coast premiere in New York next year.
