News Lansbury and Hearn to Reprise "Little Priest" at Kennedy Center Bash; Three Valjeans Sing, Too Tony Award winners Angela Lansbury and George Hearn, who starred in the original Broadway and touring companies of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, will be part of the Kennedy Center's 35th Anniversary Celebration May 7.

Lansbury (who won a Tony Award for her performance as Mrs. Lovett) and Hearn (who eventually succeeded Len Cariou in the title role of the vengeful barber) will reprise Sweeney's Act I finale, "A Little Priest," for the upcoming celebration, which will be held at 8:30 PM in the Kennedy Center's Concert Hall. The evening will also include three men who played Valjean in the Broadway company of Les Misérables: J. Mark McVey, Craig Schulman and Timothy Shew will all be on hand to sing Boublil and Schönberg's "Bring Him Home."

The one-night-only event will also include performances by Judy Collins, Harolyn Blackwell, Sarah Chang and Savion Glover. Marvin Hamlisch will conduct the National Symphony Orchestra.

The evening is set to begin with a reception, followed by the gala dinner and performance in the Concert Hall. Cocktails and dancing will follow the concert. For reservations call (202) 416-8338.
